Moataz Abdel Qader: Meets the new Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation with the Government of Southern Sudan

Moataz Mustafa Abdel Qader, Egyptian Ambassador to the Republic of South Sudan, met with “Pal Mai Deng,” the new Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation in the State of South Sudan. Ambassador Ali affirmed the directives of the Egyptian government’s political leadership to provide all forms of support to the State of South Sudan in order to achieve peace, stability and economic development; The ambassador reviewed the summary of the developments of bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields and economic sectors, including the distinguished cooperation between the ministries of water resources and irrigation in the two countries and the Egyptian projects in southern Sudan. For his part, the South Sudanese Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation expressed thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the political leadership and the government in Egypt for the support and assistance of the South Sudanese government and people, praising for the amount of projects and cooperation programs that have an economic and social impact on the life of the South Sudanese citizen. He also praised the level and quantity of existing cooperation programs and projects between the two countries in the fields of irrigation and water resources management.
