A report by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) showed a 12.5% increase in the number of mobile internet users till the end of October 2022 from 61.8 million to 69.5 million compared with corresponding period of 2021.
The number of cell phone subscribers declined to 99.1 million by October from 101.4 million last year.
Fixed internet users reached 11.9 million by October 2022 against 11.1 million in the corresponding period, recording a 7.2 percent increase.
USB Modem users went down from 2.9 million to 2.1 million, registering a 27.6 percent decline.
