The Air Force Museum celebrates people of determination under the motto (Nothing is impossible).

Yesterday, the Air Force Museum held a celebration on the occasion of the International Day for People with disabilities, as part of the framework of integrating and empowering people with disabilities in the new republic with the presence and participation of many political figures, national symbols, associations and leading civil institutions in the field of care, rehabilitation and development of people with disabilities.

The celebration was held in the open air amid models of warplanes in the presence of Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, Iman Karim, the official of the National Council for People with disabilities, and Ambassador Mushira Khattab, President of the National Council for Human Rights.
The preacher, Dr. Khaled El-Gendy, writer Mona Ragab, president of the Association (Egyptian Women Writers), member of the Storytelling and Novelist Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, artist Hani Ramzy, Dr. Salwa Haddad, member of the Senate, Suhair Abdel-Qader, head of the (Our Children) Foundation for People with disabilities, Iman El-Nasherty, member of the National Council for Women, Cairo branch, and member of the Council Trustees of Awladna Foundation, Mona El-Wakeel, member of the National Council for Women, Cairo branch, Sherine Badr, the plastic artist and engineer Rabab Abdel-Aty, Amal Reda, Sherine Hegazy, and some veterans.

Major General Staff of Harb Doctor Magdi Dowidar stated: The celebration of the people with disabilities among the warplanes aims primarily to combine hard and soft power and to let them know that the armed forces are their home, shield and sword; and that in the Air Force Museum, they are allowed to approach and take photographs to feel that they are in the heart of their homeland and have support, strength and protection.

This occasion comes to confirm the importance of celebrating people with disabilities, spreading awareness of their rights, and the importance of integrating them, renouncing violence and bullying, and empowering them in the society to be a brick in the edifice of the new republic according to Egypt’s Vision 2030.

This also comes within the framework of the state’s development of a human-building strategy whose top priorities are the progress and prosperity of our beloved Egypt.
A group of pilot officers, school and university students participated with people with disabilities in the celebration activities in terms of reception and organization, workshops, handicrafts, sports shows, and artistic and show performances.
