President El-Sisi is following up on the position of securing electricity supply for land reclamation projects

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Ambassador Bassam Radi, stated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Major General Ahmed El Shazly, Head of the Financial Affairs Authority of the Armed Forces, and Major General Ahmed Al Azazi, Head of the Engineering Authority. for the armed forces.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic noted that the meeting dealt with following up the efforts of the Ministry of Electricity regarding the electrical supply of national projects at the level of the Republic.
In this context, the Minister of Electricity presented the executive position regarding securing electrical supply for land reclamation projects at the level of the Republic in the south of the Valley, east of Owainat, Upper Egypt, the New Delta and Sinai, especially with regard to determining the required final electrical capacities, link paths and locations of high-voltage transformer stations.
The President directed the provision of financial resources for electrical feeding projects for land reclamation projects throughout the geographical area of the Republic, taking into account what these projects represent in terms of increasing the agricultural area, expanding the urban sprawl and establishing new communities, within the framework of the country’s integrated development strategy.
