The Museum of Civilization receives the United Cars and Motorcycles team in Saudi Arabia

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat received the United Cars and Motorcycles team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab world, and the Egyptian Mega team from the volunteers of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for motorcycles, as part of their current presence in Egypt to participate in the activities of the international sports exhibition “Expo sports 2023”, which is hosted by Egypt From December 26th to January 8th.

The delegation included 50 motorcycle driving professionals from Egypt and Saudi Arabia, where they toured the various halls of the museum. During the tour, the team members expressed their keenness to visit the museum while they were in Egypt to participate in this sporting event, and praised the magnificence of the museum and its holdings.

They were also keen to record their visit by taking memorial photos to commemorate this visit, pointing out that they will publish them on their accounts on their social media platforms to express their pride in the Egyptian civilization and this great edifice.

Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Museum Authority, explained that the visit came as part of the state’s keenness to benefit from the events that are organized or hosted in Egypt to promote the Egyptian tourist destination, by organizing visits for official delegations to many tourist and archaeological places in Egypt to enrich their visit by introducing them to them. With Egypt’s tourist and archaeological potentials, and introducing them to the ancient Egyptian civilization.

Fayrouz Fikry, Executive Vice President of the Museum Authority for Management and Operation, added that the museum is always keen to shed light on its mission and role in communicating with society in all its categories and events, hosting official delegations and introducing them to Egyptian civilization, and how it left behind the greatest human heritage, which is the Egyptian antiquities in its various eras.

It is noteworthy that Egypt is hosting the global sports exhibition in the Middle East and Africa, “Expo sports 2023”, as part of the Red Sea Festival, which will include a motorcycle tour, which comes within the framework of spreading a new style of sports tourism “road tourism” to take advantage of the huge construction revolution of roads.
