Egypt, Mexico FMs confer on bilateral relations

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Mexican counterpart Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon said Friday they are looking forward to boosting economic ties between their countries and upping the volume of investments.

The two top diplomats met earlier in the day on the sidelines of the G20 ministerial talks in the Indian capital.

They exchanged views about regional and international issues of mutual concern, said spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid.

Shoukry and Casaubon also discussed cooperation at international gatherings, especially those tackling the files of terrorism, human rights, disarmament and the environment, Abu Zeid added.
