President El-Sisi Speaks with Former Cypriot President

Yesterday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi spoke by phone with Mr. Nicos Anastasiades,the former President of the Republic of Cyprus.

President El-Sisi expressed his appreciation and thanks to his Cypriot counterpart the support he provided towards the strategic relations between the two friendly countries during his term , which witnessed many important achievements, whether at the level of bilateral relations, or through the tripartite cooperation mechanism between Egypt, Cyprus and Greece. He also expressed his wishes for good health and continued success.

The former Cypriot president
expressed his great gratitude to President El-Sisi for this generous gesture, appreciating the his contributions in laying the foundations for fruitful cooperation between Egypt and Cyprus over the past years. He also affirmed his country’s firm commitment to continuing to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries, under the leadership of the elected President Nikos Christodoulides.
