President El-Sisi Meets with Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry 

Yesterday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Prime Minister, Dr.Mostafa Madbouly; Minister of Trade and Industry, Eng. Ahmed Samir.

The meeting discussed efforts made to benefit from the industrial complexes. The President was also briefed on efforts made to cooperate with the industrial private sector, both Egyptian and international companies, and the measures being undertaken to increase industrial investments.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency said that President El-Sisi directed that efforts be made to further expand existing industrial production lines and establish new ones. This shall be achieved by making diligent efforts to overcome structural obstacles and challenges facing industrial investment in Egypt. The President also stressed the importance of promoting the role of the private sector and making the best use of industrial zones and complexes, with the aim of establishing successful and sustainable Egyptian industrial entities. They, in turn, will help improve the national economy and achieve comprehensive development.
