President El-Sisi Meets Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt

Yastaday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, Mr. Hassan Abdalla. The President was briefed on the indicators of the Egyptian and international economic situations, the performance of the banking sector, and the state’s monetary policies. The meeting also covered the ongoing efforts to increase foreign exchange reserves. In this regard, President El-Sisi gave directives to continue working on providing essential production requirements for priority sectors and to create favorable conditions for attracting more foreign investments and empowering the private sector, with the aim of achieving the state’s comprehensive development goals.
