Egypt’s ambassador to Kazakhstan meets the Grand Mufti and Kazakh preachers

Manal Yahya Al-Shennawy, Egyptian Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, met with Norizbay Utbenov, Director of the Religious Administration and Grand Mufti of Kazakhstan, at the headquarters of the Kazakh Dar Al Iftaa, where the ambassador handed over certificates of passing the training course held by the Ministry of Awqaf for Kazakh imams and preachers.
The Egyptian ambassador also delivered a speech in which she expressed Egypt’s keenness to strengthen the bonds of bilateral relations with Kazakhstan, and to strengthen religious and cultural relations, which is one of the most important pillars of relations between the two countries, referring to the successful visit of His Eminence, the Grand Imam, Dr. Level September 2022 to participate in the seventh edition of the Conference of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
For his part, the Grand Mufti of Kazakhstan expressed thanks and gratitude for the support provided by Egypt and its religious institutions, led by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, to the Kazakh side, whether through grants for Kazakh students to study in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, by sending envoys of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, or through training courses for imams and clerics. The Grand Mufti of Kazakhstan also referred to the strength of the historical bilateral relations between his country and Egypt, expressing his thanks to the Al-Azhar Foundation and the efforts of the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments.
