Pope Tawadros thanks President Sisi for extending his congratulations on Christmas

Pope Tawadros II thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for congratulating him on the Merry Christmas.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated the Coptic brothers on Christmas, upon his arrival at the Nativity of Christ Cathedral in the New Administrative Capital.

President El-Sisi said, in his speech inside the cathedral: “Happy New Year, all of you, and a happy Eid to you and all of us. O Lord, this year will remain a year of goodness, peace and love for all of us, not only in Egypt.. in the whole world.” President El-Sisi continued, saying: “I know.” Today is a beautiful and happy occasion, and I was supposed to say Happy New Year and give the opportunity to His Holiness the Pope, and let us direct all appreciation, respect and pride to His Holiness the Pope and you.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized extending congratulations to Pope Tawadros and the participants in the Christmas Mass, saying: “Happy New Year, and you are good.

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi congratulated the Egyptian people on the occasion of Christmas.

President El-Sisi said on his official pages on social media: “Happy New Year to our people and our country on the occasion of Christmas, that fragrant occasion that brings us together on the love of the homeland and confirms that we are on the path of citizenship, and we will never deviate from human coexistence and the authentic belief in the unity of the homeland and the human community.

On this occasion, President El-Sisi called for inspiration from the fragrant meanings established by Christ, peace be upon him, of love, tolerance, forgiveness, and benevolence, adding: “Every year, you are all good and peace, and Egypt is always and forever in safety and security.”
