President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria, Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, and the Coptic Brothers, participated in the Christmas celebrations, in the Nativity of Christ Cathedral in the New Administrative Capital, and said during his speech: “Very thankful, Happy New Year to all of you, and Happy Eid to you and to all of us, O Lord.” This year is a year of goodness, peace, security, and love for all of us, not only in Egypt, in the whole world.
President El-Sisi indicated that the book of Pope Tawadros includes many judgments and sermons that guarantee the preservation of love between us without discrimination, continuing: “The Egyptian people must strive to root love in all of us, and we always need to make sure on every occasion that we are all one and there is no form.” It is a form of separation between us.”
And Al-Sisi continued: “Praise be to God, we are walking well, and you will find many people who speak a lot of words, but they do not know them, and they talked about the Suez Canal and about many things, and they said that they will be sold, and if there is something we will do, we will say it as we say everything, asking: Is Egypt if it is tired, will we abandon it? Rest assured, and may God protect you, Happy Eid, and your prayers are good for all of us and for Egypt.
And the president said that Christmas is a beautiful and happy occasion: “I am supposed to tell you Happy New Year, and give the opportunity to His Holiness the Pope, and with his face all appreciation, respect and pride, and God, and to all of you, you do not know the extent of love, appreciation and pride that His Holiness the Pope appreciates, and this is not from An emptiness, and I said the last time we all remember it.
As President El-Sisi said: “People in Egypt are anxious and afraid. I will not say that this is not justified, but you must be reassured. We do not tell anyone anything, and on every occasion I tell the story so that you know what is happening, and do not listen to someone who is not responsible. It is an occasion for me to speak and tell the story so that you know it so that you do not go out of your way to the least. I am not responsible.”
President El-Sisi added: “Everyone knows who he is, an employee, a director, and the one after him and the one after him, until we reach what our Lord wanted to remain in charge of responsibility, meaning someone will know, with full appreciation and respect for other church members such as His Holiness the Pope in church affairs, no And when I answered the same, and I hope that you will excuse me, His Holiness, the Pope, whoever says that he did not know, and he certainly will not know.”
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi called on those present at the cathedral of the administrative capital, and all Egyptians in homes, not to be afraid of anything: “I don’t want you to be afraid, our Lord is there, He will leave us, I mean? Worried, why are you worried?
The president added: “They say they are worried because they are afraid of her, and I am happy with your fear of her, and I tell you not to be afraid for two reasons. The first is that our Lord exists and He is the dearest and greatest of all and can do every good thing for us. So, do we deserve this? We try to deserve it, continuing: “We do.” As a country, its officials are keen that the great crisis that exists in this world, with its very huge effects, will not affect us, and the world will remain in this last crisis different from the world we saw before, and this economic crisis will affect many countries if the war continues this year or more ».
