The Minister of Environment honors the working group of COP27 climate conference

Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, honored the teamwork participating in organizing the COP27 Climate Conference, which Egypt hosted during the period from 6 to 20 November 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh and granted them certificates of appreciation, in honor of them for their effective role in making the conference a success and presenting it with in an honorable image for the Egyptian state.
The Minister of Environment thanked Ambassador Mohamed Khalil for his role in presenting the idea of Egypt hosting the COP27 Climate Conference to the Council of Ministers at the beginning, and for the conference teamwork to prepare the file for the COP27 climate conference after that until it was chosen to organize it, noting that this journey witnessed a lot of pressure and fatigue which met with a lot of effort, sincerity, honesty and sincerity of intentions.
Fouad emphasized that the teamwork performed the task perfectly, whether in terms of logistical, technical or financial aspects which was a participation that witnessed the inclusion of every woman and man with honesty and sincerity to promote this country and leave an honorable image of it, emphasizing the success of the organizational process, which is one of the best conferences both within Events area, and in the logistical work areas.
Fouad added that history will affirm to the Egyptian state organizing this conference with pure Egyptian labours, noting that there are countries that seek help from foreign expertise when organizing and hosting such international events, affirming that the efforts made by the Egyptian state exceeded all expectations and made them take great steps to end this conference in successful terms concerning
organization and logistics.
The Minister of Environment affirmed that the teamwork organizing the conference endured what human beings could not bear, in addition to the obstacles that met the teamwork of the Ministry of Environment, its agencies, employees, experts, consultants and assistants; and they were able to overcome them and proved their ability to organize this conference.
The Minister of Environment thanked Dr. Ali Abu Sunna, CEO of the Environmental Affairs Agency, Ambassador Raouf Saad, advisor to the Minister of Environment for multilateral agreements, Eng. Sherif Abd El Raheem, The Head of the Central Department for Climate Change, Dr. Amr Osama, Adviser to the Minister of Environment for the climate change file, and Ms. Suha Taher, Head of the Cop27 Climate Conference Unit and of the Central Administration for International Cooperation, Mr. Tamer Abu Garara, Advisor to the Minister for International Cooperation, Dr. Karim Morsi, Advisor to the Minister for the Private Sector, and all members of the teamwork, expressing her happiness in cooperating with this distinguished team.
