OIC Secretary General expresses solidarity and compassion with Mozambique after strong cyclone

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, expressed his full solidarity with the Government and the people of the Republic of Mozambique after cyclone Freddy hit the country for the second time this year, caused landslides and resulted in deaths and damages, on 11 March 2023.

The Secretary General also expressed his compassion with the victims of the heavy rains and the landslides.

H.E. Mr. Taha assured of the OIC’s readiness to support the recovery efforts and the preventive actions to be deployed by the Authorities of Mozambique.
