Exempting people with disabilities from fines for late payment of subscriptions to youth organizations

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, issued a decision exempting people with disabilities and special abilities from fines for late payment of annual subscriptions and fines for not attending the General Assembly at the level of youth bodies subject to the provisions of Law No. 218 of 2017 and its amendments, for the current fiscal year in youth centers, youth development centers, and the General Union. This comes in light of the policy of the Ministry of Youth and Sports towards more access to youth and sports facilities for people with disabilities and integrating them into the various projects and activities implemented for them in light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the assignments of His Excellency which he announced in the fourth edition of the “Differently abled” celebration.

The Minister of Youth and Sports affirmed that people with disabilities come at the forefront of the Ministry’s work priorities which is keen to provide all support and assistance to them, and to meet their aspirations and needs through the various projects and programs that the Ministry implements for them throughout the Republic.

Sobhy drew attention to the continuous follow-up during the coming days regarding the implementation of the President’s assignments towards more support and integration for people with disabilities in various youth and sports bodies, discovering and fostering for talented ones in various fields, and coordinating their initiatives.
