Egypt, Kuwait discuss reinforcing cooperation
Minister of Planning and Economic Development and IsDB Governor for Egypt Hala El Saeed reviewed with Kuwait’s Finance Minister Abdulwahab Al-Rushaid the investment potentials and cooperation opportunities in Egypt.
The get-together came on the sidelines of the 47th annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) group, currently held in Sharm el Sheikh on June 1-4, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The meeting paid much focus on the investment potentials in Egypt, especially through the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, and its latest executed projects, such as the acquisition of the Arab Investment Bank, developing Tahrir complex into an international hotel, in addition to other projects.
For his part, Al-Rushaid reiterated his country’s interest in investing in Egypt, expanding the partnership and the common projects, as well as pumping more investments in different sectors, especially after the governmentally announced facilities, and encouraging more foreign and Arab investments into Egypt.
