فتح باب الترشيح لجائزة الملك فيصل

أعلنت الأمانة العامة لجائزة الملك فيصل اليوم الثلاثاء 1 سبتمبر 2026 عن فتح باب الترشيح للدورة الخمسين 2028، في أفرع الجائزة الخمسة.
وأوضح الأمين العام لجائزة الملك فيصل الدكتور عبدالعزيز السبيّل، أن لجان الجائزة تحدد في كل عام موضوعاً علمياً لكل جائزة. وستكون موضوعات هذه الدورة على النحو الآتي:
جائزة الملك فيصل للدراسات الإسلامية: “تراث المسلمين في الأندلس”
جائزة الملك فيصل للغة العربية والأدب: “الأدب العربي من منظور الدراسات المقارنة”
جائزة الملك فيصل للطب: “العلاجات القائمة على الحمض النووي الريبي”
جائزة الملك فيصل للعلوم: “علم الحياة”

أما جائزة الملك فيصل لخدمة الإسلام، فهي جائزة تقديرية، تمنح للمؤسسات والأفراد ممن لهم دور ريادي في خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين، فكرياً، وعلمياً، واجتماعياً، من خلال أعمال مختلفة، وأنشطة متنوعة، وبرامج، ومشروعات، ذات أثر في المجتمع المسلم.

وأشار الأمين العام أن الترشيحات تقبل من الجامعات والهيئات والمؤسسات والمراكز العلمية، وتبدأ من الأول من سبتمبر 2026 وتمتد حتى نهاية شهر مارس 2027.

Nomination for King Faisal Prize Open

The General Secretariat of King Faisal Prize announced today, 1 September 2026, that it welcomes nominations to the 2028 award in its five categories (Service to Islam, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Literature, Medicine, and Science).

Secretary General of King Faisal Prize Dr. Abdulaziz Alsebail pointed out that this marks a pinnacle in the prize’s long history of 50 years in recognizing and honoring prominent individuals and entities who have enriched humanity with their works. Dr. Alsebail added, the subjects for the prize’s categories for the year 2028 are as follows:
Islamic Studies: “The Islamic Heritage in al-Andalus”
Arabic Language and Literature: “Arabic Literature from the Perspective of Comparative Studies”
Medicine: “RNA-Based Therapeutics”
Science: “Biology”

While the Service to Islam prize is an honorary award bestowed on those whose goodwill-feats immensely served Islam, Muslims, and humanity as a whole.

Nominations for the prize continue over a 7-month period commencing 1 September and ending 31 March 2027, and are accepted from academic and scientific institutions as well as research centers.
